About Us - JOM

We are a company located in Lliçà d’Amunt, Barcelona, that mass produces metal components and enclosures. The company was founded in 1975 by Mr. Josep Calls Sarroca, who started the business as a small tooling workshop. Over these years we have integrated different manufacturing processes and currently specialize in the manufacture of parts through metal stamping and die construction, laser cutting, CNC bending and welding. We have a technical department made up of highly qualified staff and we offer a 360º service to our customers. We offer advice on possible production processes, engineering, quality, materials, finishes, etc.

We are driven by a desire to work closely with customers and help design, develop, improve and offer a product that fully complies with their expectations, in terms of service, functionality, quality and price.

We detect the needs of the customer and from there we analyse the manufacturing options available. We are passionate about our work and we believe in the continuous improvement of all our processes. With a usable working area of 4,500 square metres and state-of-the-art machinery, we are a multi-sector company that over the years has specialized in adapting quality standards according to the needs and demands of our customers. We currently work for sectors such as the automotive industry, construction, renewable energies, motorcycles, appliances, the electricity sector, street furniture, the medical sector and the railway industry, among others.

We firmly believe in honesty, respect and proactivity. We believe it is important to create synergies with our customers, suppliers and collaborators. Ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and a job well done are part of our identity. Today we supply products throughout Spain, France, Poland and Canada.

In an increasingly demanding market, our quality department ensures that what we manufacture meet the requirements of our customers and their products. We industrialize the manufacture of metallic components with stable processes which are agreed with our customers, to guarantee that we meet our objective and that of our customers. When we industrialize any commissioned part, our engineering and quality departments work together to ensure compliance with the part or assembly requirements. The necessary verification method is implemented in each of the operations of the part and the necessary documentation is prepared for its approval and subsequent manufacturing. The tools proposed by the quality department are also designed and built at JOM.

Reducing our carbon footprint is one of our priorities. We want to contribute to improving the environment and the lives of people by being increasingly efficient and sustainable. We believe in the circular economy and we work along these lines by adopting recycling measures and properly managing our waste.

Much of the electrical energy consumed at JOM is produced by solar panels installed on our roofs. We use recycled materials for the packaging and shipping of our products.
